Hi,
I've removed all comments from this spammer (including his account).
Let me know if you need anything else. Thank you.

I am in a similar situation. I just had a new comment posted that links to a campaign of questionable purposes. The same person emailed me with a different claim of "need" than what the campaign lists.

If possible please have this comment removed from the campaign. Though the campaign is closed, it is still referenced by those that donated and I would like to avoid them being taken in by a scam.

Hi,
Thanks for your email, and I completely understand your point of view. Unfortunately this comment does not violate our TOS. However, I am working on a comment moderation tool for campaign owners currently. As soon as it is complete you'll be able to hide comments like this from view. I'll let you know when that feature is deployed.
Best Regards,
Mark

Ok. Any chance I can send you the email the page owner sent me that clearly shows two different "purposes" to the campaign? The email claims the purpose is for a grandson that recently passed with bone cancer, then you go to the campaign and it is for a group going to provide support in Japan.
If the comment cannot be removed, then I will go ahead and add a comment warning people off as a fall back I guess.

Yes please do.
I'll investigate.
Best Regards,
Mark

I went ahead and deleted the comment due to the nature of your campaign. This is not Pledgie policy but given the circumstances I understand.
Best Regards,
Mark

Here's the email I received shortly after the comment was posted. It links
to the same campaign. Thanks for your assistance.
Hi,
I have found your profile on pledgie.com and i am very inspired by what you
are doing. Maybe i could ask for some assistance from you.
I launched a campaign a while back for Tyler our grandson. Tyler was
diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma (bone cancer). He passed away on March 18,
2011.
This brought us to creating a new campaign (memorial for Tyler) which can be
found here: http://pledgie.com/campaigns/14901
The reason i am asking for your assistance is simply because i am way too
old for this internet thing. It was already a mission having set up a
campaign for Tyler. However, we just don't have a choice.
If there is any way you could assist our family by spreading the link as you
doing for your friend - this would be so much appreciated. If you are
unable, it is all right.
God Bless You
