Hello!

I would like to change the way a donation is shown on the list (simply need to change the way a name appears on public site) but the 'edit' link in the dashboard throws me back to the campaign front page instead.

Anything I can do?

    Hi Femke,
What campaign id and the donation you are trying to edit?

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi Femke,
I see the campaign, how are you trying to edit the donation? How did you log into Pledgie (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Web account)? What is the url to your Pledgie account? Where are you seeing the edit button?

    Best,
    Mark

    Hello Mark

I log in through a web acount / browser

The list of donations is displayed with a little pencil button on right side of it (column: 'Actions'): http://pledgie.com/campaigns/8926/detail

Links on edit-buttons are formatted like:
    http://pledgie.com/campaigns/8926/pledge/edit.%23%3Cpledge:0x7fa813...

If I click this link to edit a donation, I simply land back on the main campaign page

I am using FireFox 3.7 (but tried other browsers) on Ubuntu 9.10

    What else? :-)

    Hi Femke,
Ok I'll need to try and reproduce that bug. In the meantime if you want to give me the donation you want to modify I am happy to take a look. The options are that I can make it appear as anonymous or if it is presently anonymous I can show the name. Will that work?

    Best,
    Mark

    Thanks Mark.

It is not extremely important, just that the behavior seems odd.

    Here's the situation:

Donator 12 has an account at pledgie under the name Speculoos:
    http://pledgie.com/accounts/Speculoos

Speculoos (name of the agency) would like their donation to appear under
the name of ... the agency, but it is shown under the individual name of
the credit card holder (Pierre Huyghebaert).

And to complicate things, donor 2 is the same Pierre Huyghebaert but
this particular donation is correctly kept anonymous.

That is why I tried to edit (but it might not be possible anyhow) and
discovered that the links did not get me anywhere.

I've attached a screenshot; maybe it helps?

    Hey Femke,
I've isolated the bug and am working on a fix. Thanks for finding for me.

    Dear Mark,

I have another request to make a change but still cannot do it through
the dashboard. Can you change donation no. 94 on campaign
    http://pledgie.com/campaigns/8926 from
"Anonymous" or "Vitezslav Valka" to "Pixmac.com"?

    best,

    Femke

    Hi Femke,
Right now Pledgie does not support "custom" donation labels but it is something we want to add in the next release.

    Best,
    Mark
